  22. The Flyer 4.1 CD-ROM has been produced and duplicated.  Last minute fixes 
  23. will require that some updated files will be supplied on two floppy disks, 
  24. which will also contain the Installers for the 4.1 Update.
  25.  
  26. Once the diskettes are duplicated, shipping will commence.  Updates will be
  27. shipped by Date-Of-Purchase order, and we expect the process to take four to
  28. six weeks to complete.  We have no way to know exactly when a given update 
  29. will ship, in the process.   Please do not flood the Customer Service lines 
  30. with inquiry calls.

  32. For the convenience of any users who may receive faulty diskettes, we have
  33. already posted archives of the two diskettes in the Flyer Updates area.  Do 
  34. not download these unless you have received your 4.1 kit, and have a bad 
  35. diskette. They are of no use if you do not have the new 4.1 CD-ROM.

  40. The Flyer 4.1 CD-ROM Software Package is Shipping:

  42. Shipping commenced February 8.  The package includes the new 4.1 CD-ROM, 2
  43. floppy disks, approximately 70 pages of manual update material, a printout 
  44. of the README file, and at first, coupons for the final Lightwave 4.0 
  45. manuals, when they become available.

  47. Packages are being shipped in order of purchase date, as recorded in
  48. registration.  Shipping of all units is expected to take at most 4 to 6 
  49. weeks from the date shipping began.  Please do not call to ask when to 
  50. expect yours. Shipping is being done by a contracting facility, and our 
  51. customer service and technical support staff do not have any information on 
  52. what they are shipping or when.
